Southern Door wrestling hosts Two Rivers on 104.1 WRLU

After several weeks of weekend tournaments, the Southern Door Eagles wrestling team hosts their first dual meet of the season Thursday night when they host the Two Rivers Purple Raiders. 

 

The Eagles are coming off a 6th place finish in the Kewaunee Invitational. Grant Englebert led the way with a 2nd place finish at 152 pounds, while Austin Farley and Austin Falish each took 3rd place at the meet's two lightest weights. The Purple Raiders boast a strong lineup top to bottom with a team ranked in the top 10 in Division 2. Joey Bianchi has three straight runner-up finishes at the state meet to his credit, but is currently ranked number one at the 152-lb weight class.

 

The Purple Raiders won last year's dual against the Eagles 51-21 in Two Rivers. The rematch takes place at 7 p.m. with Tim Kowols and Greg Letter on the call. Pre-match show begins at 6:30 p.m. on 104.1 WRLU.
