Spartan girls run away from Denmark 77-24 on WBDK

The Luxemburg-Casco Spartan girls cruised to an easy 77-24 road victory over the Denmark Vikings on 96.7FM WBDK.


Luxemburg-Casco (6-1, 7-3 overall) used full court pressure defense early in the first half to force turnovers and convert easy baskets on the offensive end.  Cassie Schiltz led the Spartans scoring 21 of her game high 26 points in the first half.  The Spartans took a commanding 46-12 lead into halftime. 


Jenna Jorgenson and Lauren Adams added 11 points for L-C as the Spartans claimed the easy victory in their first game at the new Denmark High School Fieldhouse.


The next Spartan girls’ basketball game broadcast on WBDK 96.7FM will be Friday, January 18 at home against Little Chute.  Matt Piesler and Paul Schmitt will have the call starting at 7:00 p.m. with the pregame show and tip-off at 7:15 p.m.  Game audio can also be streamed on


The next L-C Spartan boys game broadcast on WBDK will be Thursday, January 3 at Southern Door.
