After a couple days off for Christmas, area basketball teams will head back to the hardwood Thursday at tournaments across the state. 

In girls' basketball, Southern Door travels to Oostburg to take on the tournament's host, Sheboygan South, and Xavier.

Boys' basketball action has Sevastopol heading to Lena to battle the tournament's host, Valley Christian, and Stockbridge. Sturgeon Bay will travel to Shiocton for 6:30 p.m tip.

Both tournaments conclude on Friday.
