Luxemburg-Casco boys enjoying turnaround season

For the Luxemburg-Casco boys basketball team it's been a great start to this season. They have already almost matched last season's win total at 5-2 and 3-2 in North Eastern Conference play. Head Coach Tyler Thrune is thrilled with how many players have progressed from last season to this. Thrune says there is a lot more leadership this year.

Having eight seniors on the team with previous playing experience means that Coach Thrune is able to have a ten man rotation. Other schools may only play six or seven players in a game. Thrune believes it's the team's biggest strength.

Coach Thrune would like to see his team take better care of the basketball as the Spartans are committing over 16 turnovers per game so far. He has faith they can overcome that.

LC will come back from the winter break with a non-conference matchup at Southern Door on January 3rd, which will be broadcasted on 96.7 FM WBDK with the pregame show starting at 7:00 PM, tip-off at 7:15 PM.
