Outsiders keeping Luxemburg-Casco girls fresh

The head coach of the Luxemburg-Casco girls basketball team wanted to keep his team fresh after ending the first half of the season on a three-game winning streak. The Spartans beat Denmark 77-24 against Denmark on December 21st and don’t play again until January 3rd, almost two full weeks of no games. So Head Coach Jeff Jodar has had a few practices since then to help keep his team fresh. On Friday the 29th, they practiced with some former LC basketball alumni. Coach Jodar says they were former boys’ players and they practiced really hard against the team.

The LC girls will also practice twice more before their game on Thursday, January 3rd against Oconto Falls at home.
