DCY Swim Fourth at Sheboygan North Relay Meet

The Sturgeon Bay/Southern Door/Sevastopol Boys Cooperative swim team competed on Saturday in the Raider Relay Meet. The seven swimmers able to attend, represented their schools admirably with an overall 4th place finish in the 9 team event. Swimming today for the co-op were Brock Aune, Luke Bousley, Drew Rass, and Jacob Norton from Southern Door and Ethan Almstadt, Jace Johnson and James Pollock from Sturgeon Bay. Ian Bartz and Will Albertson were unable to attend the event.

Event 2 was the 200 Medley Relay and the group of Norton, Aune, Bousley and Almstadt finished 3rd in 1:49.20

Event 3 saw Bousley, Johnson, Rass, and Pollock finish 5th in 1:44.38 for the 200 Free Relay 

Event 4 was the 200 Butterfly Relay where Almstadt, Pollock, Bousley and Aune swam to a 3rd place finish in 1:49.38

Event 7 brought a 4th place finish for Johnson, Pollock, Rass, and Norton in the 200 Backstroke Relay with a time of 2:04.42

And the team saved their best for the last event of the day. The team of Norton, Almstadt, Rass, and Aune took home a first place metal for winning the 200 Breaststroke Relay in 2:02.43, with Aune recording the fastest split of all competitors in 27.35 seconds.
