Packers hire Matt LeFleur as Head Coach

Tennessee Titans offensive coordinator Matt LeFleur is taking a big step in his young coaching career. The 39-year-old is reportedly Mike McCarthy's replacement as "Leader of the Pack." The 15th head coach in the history of the franchise has zero head coaching experience in the NFL but apparently blew the interviewing committee away.

While the name may be very unfamiliar with Packers fans, the offensive-minded coach must be given time to succeed. Despite shaky results in Tennessee last year, LeFleur did not have Aaron Rodgers leading his offense. The Titans were 27th in points scored in the NFL in 2018. That number has many concerned. However, the LA Rams offense he was apart of in 2017 led by Jared Goff excelled with LeFleur's assistance.

The announcement has not yet been made by the Packers but is expected soon. A press conference welcoming the new head coach will likely occur this week and DoorCountyDailyNews.com will be there to bring you closer to the next head coach of the Green Bay Packers.
