Algoma, Gibraltar and Kewaunee all winners Tuesday in girls basketball

In Packerland Conference girls basketball Tuesday night, Algoma beat Sturgeon Bay 77-40. MaKayla Guilette scored a season-high 33 points in the win. Teammates Sierra Nessinger and Hanna Wiese added 12 points in the win. Sturgeon Bay was led by Ashley Alberts' 10 points and Sarah Bridenhagen with nine points.

 

Gibraltar won a big game in Fish Creek Tuesday 59-51 over Southern Door. Payton Pluff led the Vikings with 21 points. Abbi Sitte chipped in 14 points in the win. Southern Door's balanced attack saw Grace LeGrave lead the team with 13 points, Hailey Shimon amassed 12 points and Tehya Bertrand added ten.

 

 

Kewaunee returned to form against Sevastopol with a 71-36 win. The Storm kept a strong hold on first place in the conference with the convincing victory. Zoe Kuehn tallied 11 points and Amber Roalkvan added 10 points in the loss.
