Algoma girls led by post player guard

The Algoma girls basketball team has turned a formula of playing great defense and relying on their leading scorer to great success. The Wolves are 10-4 overall and 7-1 in the Packerland Conference behind senior guard Makayla Guilette's offensive prowess. Guilette is the only player on the team averaging double figures in points (18.1 points per game). Head Coach Mark Zastrow says Guilette is an undersized player in the post and she's very crafty in the paint.

Coach Zastrow would like to see others on the team be a little more aggressive offensively, but is very happy to have Guilette leading the Wolves on that end of the floor.
