Roalkvan leading Sevastopol girls by example

Sevastopol's Amber Roalkvan is not the most outspoken player on the court, but to hear it from head coach Dan Judas, she is still one of the most respected leaders on her team this season. The 5'3" senior guard is one of the most dedicated Pioneers on and off the court and has found considerable success as a result. Roalkvan is at the top or near the top of the board in several statistical categories, including points per game, rebounds per game, and assists per game. She is also the leading shooter behind the 3-point line for Sevastopol, shooting around 30% from behind the arc. Judas said Roalkvan is a shining example of how much simple dedication can do to improve a player.

Roalkvan's dedication, Judas said, would also benefit the program in the long run.

The Pioneers are currently 2-10 on the season and 0-8 in conference play and are coming off a loss to NEW Lutheran on Monday. Sevastopol will next take to the floor Friday at home against Oconto.
