Henry a dual threat for Gibraltar boys basketball

The Gibraltar boys basketball team is right in the middle of the race for the top spots in the Packerland Conference, and a big part of the Vikings' success has come from guard-forward combo Evan Henry. Henry leads the team in both scoring and rebounding this season, something that can be attributed to both his tall frame and his quick, guard-like movement on the floor. Although listed as a forward on the roster, head coach Justin Burress said neither he nor any of the other forwards listed on this year's roster practice a traditional, back-to-the-basket style. Instead, Burress said Henry is most threatening when he plays outside the paint.

Henry is averaging 12 points per game and 8.8 rebounds per game this season. The Vikings are 4-5 on the season and 4-3 in Packerland Conference play, and are scheduled for a non-conference matchup with Montello on Saturday.
