Gibraltar secured a road win in a non-conference matchup with Montello. Senior guard Trevor Reinhardt led the Vikings to a 70-62 victory by scoring 16 points. This puts Gibraltar back at .500 with five wins and five losses. The Vikings go back to conference play Monday night when they travel to Sturgeon Bay.
Sturgeon Bay improved to 7-5 overall on the season by defeating Xavier by a final score of 68-59. This game was the first in a stretch of three games in four nights for the Clippers. They’ll host Gibraltar on Monday night and have another non-conference game at Seymour on Tuesday night.
Southern Door is still undefeated in the Packerland but is now 3-3 playing outside the conference after a 71-46 loss at Freedom. The Irish went on a 16-0 run early in the game and never looked back. The Eagles will try to get back on track when they host Kewaunee on Monday night.
Girls
Sturgeon Bay came up just short in their non-conference game at Lourdes Academy. The final was 60-56 and almost pulled it out because of 24 points from Sarah Bridenhagen. The Clippers will travel to Green Bay NEW Lutheran on Tuesday night.
