Snowmobilers have the opportunity to hit some trails in Door County starting this afternoon.  According to a release by the Door County Facility and Parks Department the south east section of the Door County Snowmobile trails are open.  The south east section of the Door County Snowmobile trails are considered in good condition and are being groomed.

The south east section is from Culver’s restaurant south over the Bayview Bridge and includes Potawatomi State Park and the Ahnapee State Trail

to the South Door County line at County road X.  the west edge of this section is defined by County Road M and the south half of the Ahnapee Trail.

The north, central and southwest section of the Door County Snowmobile trails are still closed as of Wednesday afternoon.
