Sturgeon Bay girls at their best when shooting well

For the Sturgeon Bay girls, last Saturday’s 60-56 defeat at the hands of Lourdes Academy brought yet another developmental success for the team. Head coach Erik Tauschek said his team made significant process in shooting the ball effectively, which led to the Clippers putting up their highest point total of the season. This proved especially true in the second half of Saturday’s game, with Sturgeon Bay outscoring the Knights 36-29. Tauschek said his team’s accomplishments on Saturday were also impressive as they came against one of the best teams in the Trailways - East Conference.

Sturgeon Bay is 1-15 on the season and 1-9 in the Packerland Conference. The Clippers are next in action Thursday evening as they hit the road to take on the Green Bay NEW Lutheran Blazers.
