Fresh off a 57-41 non-conference victory over Lena Friday night, the Sevastopol girls basketball team will look to capture their second straight on Monday as they host Stockbridge. As one of the smallest schools on the Pioneers’ schedule this season, Stockbridge sometimes struggles to put together a team, and depending on the number of players interested, will often shed games from its schedule to accommodate. However, Sevastopol was able to keep the school on for a game for the fourth year in a row, and head coach Dan Judas is preparing accordingly. He said with a new coach and a new system in place, he’s not quite sure what to expect from Stockbridge this season.
Sevastopol is 3-11 this season, with all three wins coming against non-conference opponents. Monday’s game against Stockbridge will tip off at 5:00 p.m.
