No school means no basketball practice

With Algoma canceling school Monday through Thursday this week, that presents their basketball teams with a tough challenge. The Wolves aren’t able to practice any of those days. The Algoma girls game scheduled for Monday against Green Bay NEW Lutheran had to be postponed to a later date, so the team will have gone a week and a half between games. Their last game was a 45-34 loss to Kewaunee on Monday, the 22nd of January. The Wolves play again on Friday when they travel to Oconto. Head Coach Mark Zastrow will urge his girls to try to keep in shape during this break of no school.

Zastrow is worried about his team coming out and playing rusty on Friday night, although Oconto is in the same position with school being canceled there as well this week. Tip-off for Friday is at 7:30 p.m.
