It is not easy trying to reschedule four days worth of events, but athletic directors in Door and Kewaunee counties are beginning to do just that for missed basketball games and wrestling matches. Snow canceled events Monday and Tuesday while extreme cold is to blame for cancellations Wednesday and Thursday. One of those events is the Southern Door/Kewaunee wrestling match, a de facto Packerland Conference championship that will be decided Monday instead of tonight. Between the weather and some Packerland teams fielding only a couple wrestlers, Eagles head coach Jerry Englebert said last week it has been a struggle to even get good weeks of practice.
Schedules appear to be back normal on Friday when school is expected to be back in session. We have a list of some of the rescheduled contests online with this story.
