Girls basketball results for Friday

After almost a week of cancellations, several girls basketball teams finally returned to the floor on Friday as the second half of the season rolls along.

Zoe Kuehn's 14 and Grace Bauer's 8 were not enough as the Sevastopol girls fell to Southern Door 75-46.

Sturgeon Bay lost to Peshtigo in a tight contest 33-22. Sarah Bridenhagen and Carly Wodack led the Clippers with 7 while Lexia Baxter led the Bulldogs with 13.

Hanna Wiese's 19 points were enough for Algoma to move past Oconto 51-44. Mara Allen had 17 to lead the Blue Devils.

Gibraltar also defeated NEW Lutheran 50-42 to extend their winning streak by one more game.
