Rescheduling games not an easy task

The cancellation of several high school athletic contests over the past week has one area athletic director working his hardest to reschedule as many games as possible. Todd Meikle, the athletic director at the Sturgeon Bay School District, said it is up to both him and the AD of the opposing school to schedule another time that works for both sides. Once a day is chosen, officials must be found to make the trip and help cover the date. Meikle said it can be tricky to do so depending on the day of the rescheduled game.

The Sturgeon Bay athletic director has had his hands full this week, with boys and girls basketball games and wrestling contests to make up. However, Meikle said he and the athletic department have everything set moving forward.
