Kewaunee's big sports night

The students of Kewaunee are more proud to be at school today than they are most days. That's because the Storm sports teams went 3-0 Monday night. Kewaunee wrestling clinched their second straight Packerland Conference championship with a victory over Southern Door which was heard on 104.1 WRLU. The boys basketball team played very well in a blowout victory against Gibraltar at home, a game that could have been listened to on 105.1 WSBW. In girls basketball, the Storm kept their dominant season going with a big victory, also over Gibraltar, in a tough game on the road. It's a good day to be Kewaunee Athletic Director Brian Rabas who says students and staff were a little happier today after last night's results than they would be on a normal Tuesday. Rabas added that the community helping out has made their sports programs what they are today.

The Kewaunee boys and girls basketball teams are right back at it on Tuesday night. The boys will go to Brillion in a non-conference matchup and the girls will play their third game in four days when they host Green Bay NEW Lutheran.
