After both teams called the Kress Center home last weekend, the Green Bay men's and women's basketball teams kick off a full weekend of action Thursday night.
The Phoenix men head back on the road for a swing through Ohio to face Cleveland State and Youngstown State. The Phoenix beat both teams at home earlier this season, but it has been the road keeping the men down as they continue to fight for tournament seeding. Thursday's game against Cleveland State begins at 6 p.m.
The women's team can get into a tie for first place in the Horizon League with a weekend sweep of Northern Kentucky and Wright State. Both teams have proven to be tough tests for the Phoenix, including the Raiders taking the first contest 85-67. The Kress Center has been kind to the Phoenix the last five years, going 38-3 in conference play during that stretch. Thursday's game against Northern Kentucky starts at 7 p.m.
