Yet another game has been postponed for the Gibraltar boys basketball team, with Thursday's matchup against Green Bay NEW Lutheran being canceled following another round of winter weather. With the weather predicted to clear up for Friday, the team will likely be back in action Friday against Peshtigo. The Vikings and Bulldogs are yet to meet this season after their first two scheduled meetings were canceled due to poor weather. Head coach Justin Burress said that while most of his scouting and planning had gone into Thursday's game, Peshtigo's athleticism and talent this season cannot be overlooked.
Gibraltar is 7-7 on the season and 5-5 in the Packerland Conference. Thursday's cancellation will only continue to clog up a busy end-of-season schedule that already features seven games in two weeks.
