Spartan seniors lead the way in 69-24 victory over Denmark on WBDK

The Luxemburg-Casco Spartans girls lead from start to finish as they routed the Denmark Vikings Friday night 69-24 on 96.7FM WBDK.  It was Senior Night at Luxemburg-Casco High School as the seven seniors on the team were saluted prior to the game.

Luxemburg-Casco (13-2, 15-4 overall) started slowly on offense but was able to hold the Vikings scoreless for the first four minutes of the game while eventually taking a 32-9 lead into intermission.  Senior Cassie Schiltz led the Spartans in scoring with 28 points while Jenna Jorgenson added 14 points.

The Spartans will find out their seeding for the upcoming tournament on Saturday as Coach Jeff Jodar will be lobbying for a deserving number one seed in the regional.

The next Spartan girls’ basketball game broadcast on WBDK 96.7FM will be next Saturday at home for a make-up game against Marinette in the regular season finale.  Matt Piesler and Paul Schmitt will have the call starting at 3:00 p.m. with the pregame show and tip-off at 3:15 p.m.  Game audio can also be streamed on DoorCountyDailyNews.com.

Pregame salute to Seniors Cassie Schiltz, Jenna Jorgenson, Alexis Paye, Carli Kollross, Paige Skubal, Mackie Junio and Jordan Bukouricz.
