The Sevastopol girls basketball team will get to experience their first Saturday game this season when they head to Peshtigo. The Pioneers (4-14, 0-13) will look to pick up their first conference win this season against a Bulldogs (9-8, 7-5) team that has established itself around the .500 mark. Head coach Dan Judas said he isn't bothered by having to travel on a non-school day. He said his team would still show up and try to claim a victory in a tough Packerland Conference.
Saturday's contest is the second meeting between Sevastopol and Peshtigo. The Bulldogs won the first contest 50-38 in a game that saw two players pick up half of all the points. Lianna Baxter led all scorers with 25 for Peshtigo, while Sevastopol's Amber Roalkvan picked up 19.
