With just one more week left to go in the season, the Sturgeon Bay girls basketball team with optimism that they can make a run into the postseason. Head coach Erik Tauschek said the most important thing heading into the end of the regular season is that his team has improved as much as possible to face a possibly difficult opponenet. He said that after all the seeds have been given out, the regular season can be considered just a long tune-up session.
The Clippers (2-18, 2-12) will play two games this week as they prepare for the postseason. The team will host Oconto (9-11, 5-9) on Tuesday before a Valentine's Day showdown with Algoma (13-6, 10-3).
