The Luxemburg-Casco wrestling team is looking to repeat as state champs after winning their regional on Saturday. The Spartans also had seven individual wrestlers advance to the sectionals. Head Coach Chas Treml says the team has really come together recently and everybody is wrestling at their best right now. Treml is excited about a deep postseason run.
L-C narrowly edged out Wrightstown 226-211 in the Valders Regional on Saturday. The sectionals were scheduled for Tuesday night at Brillion but has now been moved to Wednesday night due to the weather. The Spartans first matchup will come against Winneconne and if they win will take on the winner of Tomahawk versus Freedom.
