Boys' basketball round-up: Sturgeon Bay earns cross county win

A busy night in boys' basketball yielded one win for local teams.

In Institute, Jake Schneider and Carson Talbert combined for 38 points in Sturgeon Bay's 65-46 victory over Sevastopol. The Pioneers' Robert Pollman led all scorers with 22 points.

Gibraltar's Evan Henry drilled six three-pointers en route to a 22 point evening, but it was not enough to hold off the NEW Lutheran Blazers in a 63-54 defeat.  Andras Szakala and Trevor Reinhardt each added 12 points in the loss.

Luxemburg-Casco could not overcome a 29-16 first-half deficit on the way to a 66-47 loss to Freedom. No Spartans player scored in double figures with Dylan Hanson and Nathan Coisman leading the team with just seven points apiece.
