Three Door and Kewaunee County teams played makeup games on Friday. Here are the results:
In the only boys game of the three, Gibraltar went on the road to Oconto and lost by a final score of 67-42. The loss dropped the Vikings to 8-10 overall, and 6-8 in Packerland Conference play. Gibraltar goes to Sevastopol to play the Pioneers on Monday night, tip-off at 7:30 PM.
In girls hoops, Southern Door picked up a conference home victory over Peshtigo 47-28. Nicole Norton led the way for the Clippers with 11 points. That was the final regular season game for Southern Door. They finished fourth in the conference at 10-6 in Packerland play. Their next game will be in the Regionals as they’ll host fellow Packerland rival, Sturgeon Bay. Southern Door has already beaten Sturgeon Bay twice this season. That game will be on Tuesday night, tip-off at 7 PM.
The Luxemburg-Casco girls cruised to a 64-25 win over Marinette in the Spartans last regular season home game that aired on 96.7 FM WBDK. Cassie Schiltz led the way with 16 points. The Spartans play their final regular season game Monday night at Waupaca. If they win, they will claim a share of the North Eastern Conference championship with Freedom and Wrightstown.
