Antetokounmpo shines but Team Giannis loses All-Star Game

The best player in the NBA All -Star Game Sunday night was hands down Milwaukee Bucks star Giannis Antetokounmpo. His 38 points and 11 boards led all players in each category. Team Giannis, however, fell to Team LeBron 178-164.

Giannis scored the first six points of the game and 10 of first 14. Before we knew it, Antetokounmpo was 7/7 from the floor and had a quick 14 points.

Then teammate Khris Middleton checked in and hit his first three three-point attempts. It looked like the Bucks were going to take over the All-Star Game. The Milwaukee representatives accounted for 28 of the first 39 points scored by Team Giannis.

The Antetokounmpo led squad led 53-37 at the end of the first quarter. The 53 points tied an All-Star Game record for points scored in a quarter.

Team Giannis would blow a 20-point lead in the second half however and Kevin Durant would hoist the All-Star Game Trophy. Durant may have won the award but Giannis was by far the better performer Sunday night.
