The lone #1 seed in the WIAA boys basketball tournament from Door and Kewaunee Counties is the undefeated conference champion Southern Door Eagles. The Coach Derik Hawkey led Eagles earned a first-round bye in Division 3 and will play the winner of Kiel and New Holstein Friday, March 1 at Eagle Gymnasium.
Other teams in the D3 bracket include #6 Kewaunee who will host #11 Two Rivers on Tuesday, February 26. Sturgeon Bay got a #7 seed and will host Cedar Grove-Belgium a #10 seed the same night.
In Division 4, Sevastopol got the #11 seed and will travel to #6 seed Saint Mary's Springs. Algoma is the #13 seed and takes the trip to #4 seed Kohler. Both games will be at 7:00 PM on Tuesday, February 26.
Gibraltar is the lone school in Division 5 from the Door Peninsula. The Vikings got a #5 seed and will host #12 Lena.
Luxemburg-Casco will host Green Bay West in the #7 vs. #10 matchup in Division 2.
Gibraltar and L-C also play their opening round game on Tuesday, February 26.
