Four local teams started their playoff runs on Tuesday night with the regionals. Those teams had mixed results as they went 2-2 on the night.
Algoma got a monster game from Makayla Guilette who scored 36 points in the Wolves 50-36 win over Roncali at home. They’ll head to Howards Grove for the regional semifinals.
Sevastopol was 5-1 in non-conference games this season but that success did not continue against St. Mary’s Springs Academy. The Pioneers fell 78-41.
Southern Door and Sturgeon Bay faced off in Brussels and the Eagles came away with a 57-22 victory. Sheboygan Falls awaits Southern Door for the regional semifinals.
