The Green Bay Phoenix could earn its 1000th victory with a win Thursday night against Oakland. The benchmark covers its transition to Division 1 and three head coaches, including 395 under current leader Kevin Borseth. The Phoenix beat the Golden Grizzlies in the Motor City earlier this season by a score of 77-53. The Phoenix needs to keep winning in order to get a share of another Horizon League title as it currently sits in 3rd place in the conference with a Sunday matinee matchup between Youngstown State and Wright State a deciding factor. The team has already clinched a home game in next month's Horizon League Tournament. Tonight's game begins at 7 p.m.
