Luxemburg-Casco and Kewaunee both won their regional final games on Saturday night. Gibraltar was not so lucky as they fell to Hilbert on their home floor.
The Spartans won an overtime thriller 76-74 over Green Bay Southwest, avenging last year’s playoff loss to the same team in a game that also went to overtime. The game was broadcasted on 96.7 WBDK as Cassie Schiltz led the way for L-C with 28 points. The Spartans will take on second seeded Notre Dame in the Sectional Semifinals on Thursday, a game that can be heard on 96.7 WBDK starting at 6:45 PM.
Kewaunee took down Sheboygan Falls by a final score of 55-45 to win the regional final. The Storm will take on number three seed Kiel in the Sectional Semifinal at Denmark on Thursday night.
Gibraltar lost in heartbreaking fashion 48-42 at home to Hilbert in what was the last game for the Vikings’ senior players. The game was heard live on 105.1 WSBW. Hilbert pulled away in the second half after the game was tied at 17 at halftime. The Wolves will take on Hustisford in the Sectional Semifinals.
