Phoenix come up short at IUPUI

The Green Bay Phoenix dropped their fourth straight game against IUPUI since the Jaguars joined the Horizon League, losing in Indianapolis Sunday 79-68.

ShanQuan Hemphill lead all Phoenix scorers with 18 points while Sandy Cohen chipped in 16 points and eight rebounds. The Phoenix entered the second half nursing a two-point lead, but a pair of big runs gave the Jaguars the cushion they needed to climb up a little bit higher.

The loss puts the Phoenix in a tie with Oakland for the third seed in next month's Horizon League Tournament with two home games against the conference-leading Wright State Raiders and Northern Kentucky Norse on tap this week.
