Southern Door's LeCloux places at women's state tournament

Freshman Katelyn LeCloux became Southern Door’s first women’s wrestling medalist Sunday after taking sixth place at the Wisconsin Wrestling Federation State Tournament in Marshfield. A pin in her first match against Nayeli Garay guaranteed her a podium finish. LeCloux was unable to pick up another win, but according to the Southern Door Wrestling Club Facebook page, she was within a move or two to finish even higher. LeCloux was a varsity reserve at Southern Door this past season, placing at the Cutler Classic, Bay Port JV, and Preble JV tournaments.
