Track season gets underway

As the winter sports season winds down with its state series events, area track athletes are the first to kick off the spring. Teams have indoor meets at local colleges and bigger high school fieldhouses before they official head outdoors for the rest of the season.  Luxemburg-Casco, Algoma, Kewaunee, Sevastopol, and Southern Door start their season on the campus of UW-Oshkosh next Thursday for an invitational hosted by the Lourdes Academy.  Gibraltar and Sturgeon Bay get their first action of the season on March 18th when it travels to Oconto Falls. Both meets start at 4:30 p.m. You can find the full track schedules posted online with this story.

In the near future, you will be able to find season previews with every team posted online at DoorKewauneeHighSchoolSports.com.
