Borseth's 400th program win punches Green Bay's ticket to Detroit

Green Bay women’s basketball head coach Kevin Borseth’s 400th win as the program’s head coach had extra meaning Thursday night at the Kress Center in Green Bay. The 73-30 victory over Cleveland State clinched a semi-final appearance against Youngstown State on March 11th to continue their run in the Horizon League Tournament in Detroit. Tied up at 13 after the first quarter, the Phoenix locked down on defense to only allow a total of 17 points the rest of the way. Frankie Wurtz, Madison Wolf, and Jen Wellnitz all scored in double figures in the victory. Borseth’s 400th win was his second major milestone of the season, eclipsing the 700 total victory mark when combined with his time at Michigan Tech and Michigan.
