Marquette suffers fourth straight loss

The Marquette men’s basketball team has ended the regular season on a four-game losing streak after their 86-84 home loss to Georgetown on Saturday. They were in great position to win the Big East Conference crown but finished the regular season in second place to Villanova. Freshman guard James Akinjo led the Hoyas with 25 points, while Markus Howard had 28 points to lead all scorers for Marquette. Next up for the Golden Eagles is the Big East Conference Tournament at Madison Square Garden.
