Former Green Bay Packers quarterback and Jim Olson Motors Red Zone host Brett Hundley is heading home. The Chandler, Arizona product signed a one-year deal to play with his home state NFL team the Arizona Cardinals Tuesday afternoon.
After the Seattle Seahawks traded Green Bay a sixth-round draft pick for his services last year, Hundley opted for Arizona in free agency. Reportedly, the $2 million dollar deal includes incentives that could take him to $3 million in 2019.
Hundley not only gets to play in his home state he also gets to play for a team that has no clear starter. The fifth-year NFL quarterback is super excited for the opportunity. He said Tuesday, "It's neat how things come full circle. I am excited to be going back home. God is good."
