Brewers tripped up by Indians

The Cleveland Indians scored three runs in the opening frame before going on to beat the Milwaukee Brewers 9-3 in spring training baseball action. Brewers hurler Chase Anderson struggled in his start, giving up a bases-loaded walk and two RBI single to Hanley Ramirez before recording an out in the first winning. Two innings later Roberto Perez would make it 4-0 with a home run. Prized Brewers prospect Keston Hiura would cut the deficit to one with his third home run of the spring in the fifth inning. The Indians would score the final four runs in the contest, including scoring three runs in the bottom half of the fifth inning thanks to a fielding error and a two-run double by Ryan Flaherty.

The Brewers return to Maryvale this afternoon to face the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim.
