Indoor season presents issues for track athletes

There is a very good reason many of the track meets during the indoor season take place at college fieldhouses: facilities. With the exception of certain events, some members of the team may finally get out to the track this week as the snow melts, a welcome sight for those trying to get their reps inside a crowded gym. Sevastopol Head Track Coach Chris Horvat says it is especially hard for athletes in events like pole vault, where the proper equipment is hard to find locally.

The Sevastopol girls track team will get to make their mark on the season when they head to UW-Oshkosh next Tuesday.
