For the first time in school history, both Green Bay Phoenix basketball teams can say they hosted a non-conference, postseason home game in the same year.
The Phoenix found on Sunday they will host a second-round game in the CollegeInsider.com Tournament Tuesday night against Florida International University on campus at the Kress Center. It comes after the Phoenix won their second postseason game in the past decade against East Tennessee State University 102-94 last week. The Panthers play a similar style to the Phoenix and earned their spot in the second round of the CIT with a win last week over North Texas State.
Tip-off at the Kress Center Tuesday night is slated for 7 p.m.
