Kewaunee storms the diamonds

The fields are at the very drier on the other side of the Door County line as Kewaunee baseball and softball each have games scheduled this afternoon.

The girls' softball team heads to Chilton to make up a game from last week, while the boys stay back to host Hilbert in baseball. Both games are scheduled for 4:30 p.m. first pitches.

The Storm softball team is coming off a 10-7 season and fourth in the Packerland Conference. Oddly enough their last game of 2018 was against Chilton, a 10-8 loss in the WIAA Regional. The baseball team is coming off a third place Packerland finish and a 10-9 record. Along with Algoma, they were suprised in their regional matchup against Gibraltar to end their 2018 campaign in a 13-1 defeat.
