Friday schedule filling up for high school sports

Slowly but surely the days are getting filled with local high school sports action across the spectrum with baseball, soccer, and softball games all scheduled to be played.

In soccer, Luxemburg-Casco is traveling to the University of Oshkosh campus to battle in its second game this week, a 6 p.m. match against Oshkosh North.

In track, Kewaunee and Sevastopol head west to participate in a 28-team invitational on the UW-Stevens Point campus. Field events start at 4 p.m.

In baseball, Luxemburg-Casco was forced to postpone its game against Notre Dame Academy, originally slated to start at 4:30 p.m. The Packerland Conference had a number of baseball and softball games scheduled for Saturday morning, but many have already been postponed due to projected weather conditions.
