Luxemburg-Casco picked up their first win of the season while Sturgeon Bay lost their opener. The Spartans' home opener went very well for them as they knocked off Green Bay NEW Lutheran 3-0. Heather Iverson, Brynn Holzwarth and Allison Prevost all scored goals. Natalie Haen picked up her second shutout this season. L-C will play at Lakeland on Friday at 6:30 PM.
Sturgeon Bay opened their season at Sheboygan Lutheran and lost 3-1. Mad Starr scored the lone goal for the Clippers. Sturgeon Bay will play at Notre Dame on Friday at 4:30 PM.
