Davies leads Brewers past the Dodgers

Zach Davies strong start on Saturday night led the Brewers to a 4-1 victory over the Dodgers in Los Angeles. He went 7 innings only allowing 1 run and striking out 6. The only run Davies allowed was a solo home run to Cody Bellinger. Junior Guerra pitched 2 perfect innings to close the game out and get the save. 

 

Mike Moustakas and Orlando Arcia hit solo home runs and Travis Shaw added a 2-run single to provide the scoring for Milwaukee.

 

The Brewers go for the sweep on Sunday. Jhoulys Chacin starts for Milwaukee against Ross Stripling for the Dodgers. First pitch is at 3:10 PM.
