Brewers start off home-stand with a win

The Milwaukee Brewers beat the Colorado Rockies 5-1 Monday night. Zach Davies started on the bump and kept on rolling like he’s been all season. He went a little over five innings not allowing a single run to set the tone for the night.

Jesus Aguilar finally broke out of his early-season slump. He would launch two bombs in the game to give Milwaukee all the run support they would need. Christian Yelich sat out with a back injury. He is expected to be monitored the next couple of days before returning.

The Brewers are just starting a 10 game homestand at Miller Park. The two teams will run it back on Tuesday for game two. Jhoulys Chacin will take the mound for Milwaukee. First pitch will be thrown out at 6:40.
