Area track teams boast five individual titles at Thursday invites

The Kewaunee boys' track team came up just short of capturing the Peshtigo Invitational title in a busy night for half of the area's squads.

The Storm came up just a half point shy of winning the title over Marinette, led by individual title by long jumper Alex Hewett and shot put thrower Tanor Bortolini.

South of Peshtigo in Seymour, Sevastopol and Algoma also turned in impressive performances. Bobbi Blahnik (shot put), Max Schoening (discus), and Jenny Farley (pole vault) won their respective events.
