Southern Door and Luxemburg-Casco softball both competed at the Poynette Jamboree at Poynette High School on Saturday. Also, Sturgeon Bay and Algoma faced off in a Packerland Conference Matchup.

Southern Door won a pair at Poynette. First they knocked off Gale-Ettrick-Trempeleau 10-1. Lexi Weri got the win and hit a three-run homer. In the second game, the Eagles defeated Northwestern 4-2 as Wery and Grace LeGrave combined to throw a four-hitter.

Luxemburg-Casco was not as successful in Poynette as they lost both their games on Saturday. The Spartans fell to Portage 6-5 and Whitnall 11-3.

Algoma had no trouble on their home field knocking off Sturgeon Bay 16-4. Missy Srnka drove in five runs for the Wolves. Maddie Prokash picked up the victory on the mound. Katie Frank hit a grand slam for Sturgeon Bay.
