We would like to start off by thanking all drivers, crews and fans, for coming out and bearing the cold with us at our Season Opener presented by Coca-Cola. A special thank you goes out to the track crew for busting tail to get the track to the best possible condition they could with the amount of rain we had threw the week, great job guys.
Our Season opener presented by Coca-Cola started off with the IMCA Sport Mods running the first feature of the night with Tailer Ness in the #3X and Sawyer Haese in the #95 leading the pack to the green. Haese took the lead right off the bat with Vince in the #6E moving from 3rd into the second spot. Haese was able to hang onto the lead in the 20 lap feature to take the checkered with Engebregtsen #6E taking second, Robert Wittkopf in the #10r in 3rd, Cody Schroeder in the #20 taking 4th, and rounding out the top 5 was Chris Budzban in the # X.
Next to take the track was the USDS Street Stocks with Marcus Moede in the #9M and Chad Naze in the # 46N bringing the pack to the green. Jeff Richards in the #10 comes up from 5th early to take the lead. Dave Degrave in the #40D came from 9th thru the pack to fight Richards for the lead position. Larry Richards in the #11R came roaring from the back of the pack and battled with Paul Ambrosius in the #8 for the 3rd spot. In the end, Jeff was able to hold onto the lead with Degrave, Larry Richards, and Ambrosius rounding out the top 5.
IMCA Stock cars make the 3rd feature as Mike Mullen #99 and Mike Coel #88 lead the pack to the green. Coel quickly takes the lead with Brett Wenzel #0 moving from 5th into 2nd. Coel was able to hang onto the lead taking the checkered with Bret Wenzel #0, Luke Lemmens #007, Paul Diefenthaler #35, and Derek Moede #99KK rounding out the top 5.
IMCA Mods make the 4th feature with Brandon Long #28 and Josh Long #8 bringing the pack to the green. Konner Wilinski #6 takes and an early lead with Wyatt Block #2JR close behind. Lucas Lambries #0 moves his way up to take over the and is able to hold onto it to take the checkered. He was followed by Wyatt taking second, Greg Gretz #24 taking 3rd, Shawn Kilgore taking 4th, and Kelsey Hayes #09 rounding out the top 5.
The Mighty 4’s makes the 5th and final feature of the night with Brian Watzka #17 and Molly Stephany #27 ½ bring the Mighty 4’s to the green. TJ Everard #88 takes and early lead as he battles with Watzka. Brian Johnson #77 come from 6th to take the lead from on the 8th lap. Johnson and Watzka battle it out for the lead position, but at the end it was Johnson who took the checkered with Watzka coming in second, Calvin Stueck #5 taking 3rd, TJ Everard #88 taking 4th, and Tony Everard #8 rounding out the top 5.
